The high end in monochrome multifunctional devices
DEVELOP launches ineo 4050/4750
Langenhagen, March 2014. Advanced functionality, high productivity, reassuring data security and an eco-friendly performance: such a full set of features is far from common in monochrome multifunctional devices. The new high-end office systems recently launched by DEVELOP fulfil all these requirements. Thanks to their fully featured concept these two systems are a good choice for all kinds of small businesses as well as small to mid-sized workgroups in larger companies.
“With the launch of these two highly sophisticated A4 devices we have completed the renewal of our entire monochrome line-up,” says Ronja Harste, the DEVELOP product manager responsible for the ineo 4050/4750. “What’s more, the numerous common features shared by these two devices and DEVELOP’s A3 systems mean users in larger multiple-device environments will feel instantly at home when operating the ineo 4050/4750.”
Intuitive user interface
Intuitive, user-friendly device operability is more important than ever in today’s office environments, where the IT infrastructure tends to be increasingly complex. The self-explanatory operability of the ineo 4050/4750, a feature common to all DEVELOP’s A4 and A3 devices, reduces user training to a minimum, thus enabling office workers to return to their normal work in no time at all. This ease of use does away with the frustrating experiences with hard-to-operate multifunctional devices many office users complain about.
Last but not least, the intuitive user interface makes even routine office jobs such as printing, copying, scanning and faxing more enjoyable. The large 7-inch colour screen tilts to two heights to suit the needs of different users, who can operate the system through multi-touch gestures such as tapping and flick scrolling. Most people will be familiar with that operating concept from their smartphone or tablet. The operating panel itself is well structured, self-explanatory and similar to the panels in all DEVELOP’s other A4 and A3 devices. The ease of use of the ineo 4050/4750 is one factor that can help boost office productivity by speeding up the document workflow.
Advanced functionality
Another productivity-enhancing factor is undoubtedly the high-end functionality of these two office devices.
The standard configuration of the 40 ppm ineo 4050 and the 47 ppm ineo 4750 includes a reverse automatic document feeder (45 images per minute in b/w and 30 colour), a 650-sheet paper capacity (extendable to 2,300 sheets via optional cassettes), a PCL and PostScript print controller, a duplex printing unit, 2 GB of memory and a 320 GB hard disk. The optional extras include a stapling unit and a print function for barcodes and Unicode fonts. The high level of integrity with DEVELOP’s A3 systems ensures a common user experience with all the associated time-savings. Consequently, the high-end functionality of the ineo 4050/4750 will prove easy to handle in a multiple-device environment.
Eco-friendly energy efficiency
The ineo 4050/4750 can not only claim to be eco-friendly thanks to the ecologically sound materials used in its construction; energy-saving features also offer the practical economic advantage of a lower electricity bill. This is made possible by the devices’ low average weekly power consumption and the minimal amount of power required in sleep mode. So there is no real need to switch off either of these multifunctional devices every evening. Their environmental and energy performance fulfils the now even stricter standards of the Energy Star and Blue Angel environmental standards. Labels that underline the devices’ eco-friendly performance, but also point to bottom-line benefits for the owner.
